Ákos and Netra are award-winning wildlife photographers with years of experience guiding photographers through Lamington’s diverse ecosystems.
Ákos Lumnitzer
One of Australia’s leading wildlife photographers, Ákos has over 28 years of in-field experience, specializing in bird photography. A subject matter expert on raptors and owls, he spent 15 years as a licensed wildlife rehabilitator. Ákos is also an accomplished author of two books, Remarkable Raptors I and II, and a sought-after speaker for photography and birding events. Beyond birds, he is an enthusiastic advocate for spiders, reptiles, and other misunderstood creatures, educating audiences with passion and humor.
Netra Chetty
With a Bachelor of Design from UNSW’s College of Fine Arts, Netra has over 30 years of experience in photography and visual storytelling. She has held leadership roles in creative teams both locally and abroad and founded her own design studio in 2009. A multi-award-winning photographer, Netra brings artistic depth and innovative vision to every project. Her accolades include representing Team Australia at the 2024 World Photographic Cup and receiving numerous national and international photography awards.
